Educational material: Methodical manual for the creation of informal educational programs in the cultural field, summarizing possible approaches to additional activities of the products of cultural institutions implemented in the form of informal education and with the possibility of active use of the prepared online tool.
The manual is the result of the activities of an expert group for various areas of culture and work with youth, while we focus primarily on history, visual arts, theater, music and literature, film…). The manual is intended for employees of cultural institutions, organizers of cultural events, youth workers, educators who work with cultural topics. Thanks to the publications, they get basic information about the possibility of implementing informal activities in the cultural environment (also in the online environment), thus expanding their activities and contributing to the reduction of the existing stereotypes and prejudices of the society towards artists, which are rampant even in the period of Covid-19. It goes, for example about different possibilities of gallery/museum, theater, musical animations, storytelling – telling through a story, activities of innovative elements. The proposed activities are also linked to the possibility of using an interactive web application.
The output created and presented in this way can contribute to the support of cultural and artistic activity, the support of cultural heritage and the strengthening and professionalization of work with youth, and the introduction of informal education in these topics as well. The final publication is available in 4 language versions (Slovak, Czech, Polish and English).
